Here’s your history lesson for the day: Named for it’s unique check pattern, the Prince of Wales Check has a unique history.  But rest assured, this is not about Prince Charles.  The name originated in Scotland some time in the 1800s, then over time became a staple in the British textile market as to go to fabric of the heir to the throne thus leading to its official title.  The Prince of Wales Check is widely regarded as a symbol of timeless menswear and considered a must have.
